Odd Focus StudiosAbout Odd Focus Studios
An independent studio in Ames, Iowa, making apps, games and interactive experiences.
Who we are
Odd Focus Studios LLC is a small, independent software company based in Ames, Iowa. We design and build our own products, from the first idea through to the finished app.
Our name comes from the way we like to work: picking one unusual idea and following it a long way. That might mean listening to the shape of a fractal, or turning a tricky subject into something you can explore with your fingertips.
How we build
- Curiosity first. We make things we would want to explore ourselves.
- Respect for players and users. We keep data collection to a minimum and say plainly what our products do.
Our work
Our current project is Fractal Rhythm, an iPhone app that turns fractals into music.
